Awesome review!
I'm running my 1TB Evo Plus in my Area51M, it's freaking fast.
so the evo plus is better than the pro in most aspects…then wtf is the selling point of the pro?? samsung isnt stupid…
Will this work on my Dell Latitude E6540 laptop??
for video editing and creative work is the evo plus better than the pro?
What's the difference between the Samsung evo + and PRO models
What does the gigabits differences make with the 500 gb version vs the 1 tb version? I don’t know what gigabit differences make
A big NO for Samsung!
I bought what I thought was a quality SSD – a Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 2TB. It cost me $1050 but had a 5 yr warranty.
It lasted 19 months and then failed.
Samsung "support" has been giving me the run around, deferring and delaying to my requests for a week now.
I now have no confidence in their products or service.
I will be looking at other brands.
Ill buy anything she wants me to.
No Adata SX8200 pro in the comparison?
This is soo great , im going to buy 2To 970 evo plus
dont install samsung driver this will damage your motherboard. keep microsoft default driver its safe.
Would this speed up video editing and rendering with 4k video with vegas pro 15 Filmaroa and Davinci resolve over a normal ssd? Or is it limited by my gpu?
Samsung is saying that the operating temp for the Plus, shows as
0 – 70 ℃
Is this compatible with the dell XPS 9560?
Can it be compatible for macbook air 2017
What is the best nvme
Evo 970 plus or WD black sn750?
5:20 u got it flipped. U want the fastest speed on ur ssd so u dont get roasted by everyone for not having an ssd if ur the only one loading in still.
Can someone explain the 4K part?
I’m currently confused between Corsair MP510 960 GB and Samsung 970 Evo 1TB.
I'm so glad the video is short and precise and not 47 minutes long!
4:42 well as you mentioned yourself the 970 evo plus uses the same hardware as the 970 evo so it's actually more reasonable to add a "plus" instead of branding it as a whole new product which is kind of misleading
maybe you'd be more satisfied if they named it something like "ultra" or "super"?
Very clear English 🙂
It uses 96 layer nand over 64 layer of the regular Evo.
What accent?
just got one x)
Funny how Samsung is king with over flagshipping everything they make before people realize it's time to upgrade after already doing so. Just throw out the Pro, unless you like paying more for less, unless the price is concerned for some durability, then keep the Pro. Well played, Samsung~
Fun Fact: 970 EVO Plus, is Temperature Proof. (no more throthling)

there is 69 dislikes tee hee
why no rgb onto it🙄
"Em point two"
I Love You, Samsung :))
I want to upgrade my main drive, which is an old 850 EVO (250 GB) to this. My question is: will a Maximus VIII Hero mb support this kind of M.2??
your nails are too sexy indeed 😀
so cute. the girl.. not the ssd.
Gamers should have a smaller (500GB) yet faster M.2 SSD for the OS and a second larger (2TB) more price effective M.2 SSD for installing Steam and the rest of your games to.
I have 2 Samsung 860 and now I'll get one 970 nvme EVO Plus 512 GB. I should be more than fine. Although I wonder shall I put my nvme as OS drive or better as gaming drive since the 860 does pretty good job regarding the OS…
Have you compared the 1TB 970 pro vs the @TB 970 evo plus any chance of your views as I am thinking of updating from four 960 pro 512 2 on a asus hyper m.2 x16 card and 2 on the 2 card holder on my asus zenith extreme? have got a second asus hyper card holder but considering not installing it unless better with 10 970 pro's 1TB over 4 2TB 970 evo plus or go some other config heaps cheaper second senario weather speeds are better with more m.2's. Read and Write capacities seam better on the evo plus on 2TB on samsungs chart
Looking at getting one of these. I’m very torn right now between the Evo Plus 500GB and the 1TB. Both perform awesome, but the 1TB is just that much better than the 500GB. Planning on using as a boot up drive, any suggestions?
Great video! Thank you! I have a question:
I have a Intel 660p 1TB and a Samsung 970 Evo 1TB
Which one should I use for my OS and which one for 4k video editing?
Can I use the Intel 660p 1TB
to put my 4k Media and Projects and edit 4k with Premiere Pro ?
My PC:
i9 9900k
32GB Ram DDR4
Asus Dual RTX 2080 8GB
