Getting started video with Arduino sketches and demonstrations for controlling mini 0.96″ OLED I2C display with driver SSD1306 with the U8g2lib. The demonstrations feature yellow-blue display and the open source hardware development board ANAVI Thermometer powered by ESP8266. With minor modifications the same Arduino sketches can be adapted to ESP32 and other Arduino-compatible boards, including Arduino Uno and Leonardo:
